Welcome to Module One. The overall goal of this module is to give you an overview of the course and its structure.

Navigating Our Course Site

Please watch the video below to learn where the different sections you will need for our course are located. I recommend that you go directly to the course website going forward, as everything you need is located here, rather than on Blackboard. Blackboard will only really be used to track your completion of assignments and provide private feedback.

Syllabus

Please take the time to read through the syllabus now. You’ll find a downloadable PDF there and in Blackboard. You can also read the different sections directly on the website. Later in the module, once you’ve registered and become a user of this course website, you’ll complete a “Checkpoint” with questions about the syllabus.

Anytime you see a button to the right click it to “Go on” to the next portion of the module. There will also be a button to go back to the previous page.

Remember: work through modules in order. If you need to stop partway through, you can always go back to the overview and pick up on the page you left off.
