Hi Alexander, it was nice meeting you. I think gorillas are super interesting and intelligent and I find it inspiring that that’s what you strive to be like.

Hi Alexander, your speech was very well articulated, and it was a very heartfelt introduction. I sympathize with your feelings to grow in this class.

Hello Alexander, until you mentioned it, I forgot that gorillas existed.

Nice job with the structure of this speech and how you wrapped in your choice of animal. I would have never associated a gorilla with public speaking! It looks like you wrote this speech out ahead of time which is one way of approaching public speaking. It becomes a challenge then, however, to not appear like you are reading, particularly given the setup of recording while you are at your computer. When we read a speech directly, it is harder to engage with the audience. This is particularly true if the text is below the line of eye sight (in this case the webcam) which is why placement of teleprompters is super important for people who use them. I want to challenge you to try to deliver an upcoming speech from an outline/bullet points and see how that experience works.

You did a very nice job structuring your speech. I would have never related a gorilla with public speaking.

I like how layered your speech was. The way you connected each point to the next.

I did not know that much about gorilla until now.

I love how you related a gorilla to public speaking

Hi Alexander. I love the animal choice; I wasn’t expecting that. I share the same goals of speaking calmly and confidently.

Hello, Alexander! That gorilla choice is interesting I hope you achieve that presence to be able to gain that confidence and like me, I also want to gain the ability to process the way I think and put them into words while speaking!

Hi Alexander. I like how you used gorillas to relate back to the topic of public speaking. I also think gorillas are cool and wise creatures. Your speech was also very nicely and well put
