Hi Damian, your emotion while telling the story kept it very engaging.

Great choice of story for this project. I haven’t had anyone choose this particular story before and you do a good job with the clarity of the story. Good commitment to hard-to-pronounce names, which often trip us up or make us apologize for not being sure how to say them (do look up Dionysus, though, as it is one that has a fairly accepted pronunciation from the Greek.) Like several of your classmates, I wish that you had told us the story more than read it to us. We get some sense of you as the person telling us this story but the more of that we see, the more engaging a story becomes. I’d like to challenge you in your next speech to also take a more formal position in terms of getting up out of the chair and trying to deliver the speech standing. This will force you to have to do something else with any nervous energy which right now is going into movements in the chair you are sitting on (which is so common!)
