Great choice of story. You settled into this well in terms of your pacing and your use of tonal changes. You are, however, reading to us, more than telling the story directly to us. So even though there are some great vocal things happening, we aren’t seeing it on your face. When we tell a story, it’s important to really imagine the setting around us to help the listener better imagine. It’s also important to give us the non-verbal cues about how we should feel and experience the story. How can you use your face to help us know how to feel when the Gingerbread man is running away for example? Think of a narrative as a tool that let’s you bring in an audience right away because you make them want to know what is going to happen next.

I love this story. However, in the future, I would recommend adding a little more enthusiasm to keep the audience engaged.

I like how you paced yourself throughout this story.

Hey Leonardo, your tone and pacing helped a lot when following a long with the story. You seem a bit bored though as you told the story so maybe be a little more animated. Overall, your versio was still fun to listen to.
